Fishing 2009-10 Reviews…

I’m sat here this evening thinking about fishing, realising the trout season started today on my local syndicate (http://www.berkeley-fishing.co.uk/) but I’m stuck inside due to the darkness and streaming rain outside. I need my fix of fishy things!
So, I’ve decided to write a series of reviews for some of the things I’ve used and been impressed with this year…
To start with, I have been very impressed with the wading boots I bought last year. Although a little pricey I did get a great deal from the USA at the time.

Korkers Guide

They have performed impeccably and show no signs of deteriorating dispite being used regularly all season and never properly cleaned after use. I have used them in both fresh and salt water and with the splendid interchangable soles they double as great walking boots. I got two pairs of soles with the boots, a felted pair and a standard lug sole. They are easily changed but to be honest I tend to use the standard ones for everything! I was sceptical about how well the Boa tensioning sysyem would work and last but thus far it has my vote. It makes putting on and removing the boots a hell of a lot easier!
It may still be early days but this far they definately get 10/10!

Till the next review…
