All things fluted…

We’ve been playing around in the workshop recently making rods, floats and priests.

We have just finished a small brook rod finished with a satin look as to not spook fish on tiny little brooks. At 5′ and taking a 3wt line it is perfect for tiny stream fly fishing. This particular one has a swelled butt and two strips of blonde cane in amongst the dark flamed ones. The rod handles great and we will put some photos up soon.

Also we have been making some hollow stem pike bobbers and some lovely fluted avons (pictured below).
