Made from hand planed cane in the Rawson workshop, matched with turned brass hardware and finished with silk whippings and traditional varnish.
A completely unnecessary, but wonderful tool to have. Makes a great gift for the committed fly tier.

Split Cane Mortised Priest

Handmade copper headed split cane priest with intricate and decorative mortise. Finished with black silk whippings. The copper has been left unpolished as I think the tarnish adds a something nice to the piece, however it will polish to a mirror finish if desired.

CTS Quartz 8′ 4wt Fibreglass Fly Rod

A superb Quartz 8′ 4wt from renowned blank manufacturers CTS. Finished in house by me, this lemongrass coloured blank has been kept reasonably minimalist black black and clear whippings, super blank matching stripey yellow agate and nude maple screw fit seat. I think I must have taken inspiration from Bees and Wasps during this build – can you tell I built it during spring?!
