Hello, Goodbye!

Its time to say hello to all the viewers of this new blog. We hope to update this page every few days with photos, text and general information about the fishing tackle we’re making and everything we’re doing.

Although we’re saying hello to you all, its also a day to say goodbye.

Goodbye to the river course fishing season (for me anyway, what with Mother’s Day and all!) I managed a few hours over on the River Wye to see off the season. A sunny warm afternoon greated me as I arrived but it wasnt until the light started to fade that I hooked into any fish! The first to grace my net was this chub, a shade under 5lb and as fat as they come!

After a short wait I was into another fish, this one pulling a little harder. After a well contested fight, a barbel around 5-6lb was mine and after a quick photo and a rest it was returned. Again, within 5 minutes of recasting I was in again. Another good fight and another decent barbel! A great end to the day and the season!
